The Spiritualtouch Summer Retreat 2018!

From 27th May to 1st June, over 900 children attended the gadget-free Spiritualtouch Summer Retreat from different parts of India. Such is the love and magnetism of Pujya Gurudevshri that the children gave more importance to deepening their devotion, increasing their understanding of spirituality, building on their skills; and easily lived without gadgets.

The First Steps to Spirituality

The children commenced their vibrant days of love and learning by enthusiastically participating in Jinpuja; cementing their devotion with ajnabhakti and ensuring physical and mental dexterity through Tai Chi, yoga, aerobics and football.

Children from Standard 7 to 11 learnt about the 108 lessons from Mokshmala and were profoundly inspired by the depth of what Param Krupalu Dev had written, at the tender age of 16 years and 5 months. Standard 12 deepened their understanding of Param Krupalu Dev’s masterpiece, Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra. In these classes debates, discussions and introspection techniques further instilled the lessons. In addition, Atmarpit Nemiji conducted an exhilarating and connecting session for the children.

Developing Skills

Childern were offered a gamut of activities which worked on improving interpersonal skills, proficiency and mental nourishment. Each child was given the option of selecting the activity that tuned to his passion. Activities included:

Amidst great excitement, Pujya Gurudevshri launched iDeal, an educational card game for the mind and the heart, where the goal is to accrue the greatest universal values!

    Expressing Devotion

Each Standard had personalised meetings with Pujya Gurudevshri. Laughing, crying, asking questions or revelling in His presence – all had an unforgettable experience! The sevaks of the Spiritualtouch Retreat were also blessed with precious moments in His divine aura.

Performing heartfelt dedications in front of the magnanimous 34-foot idol of Param Krupalu Dev served as the perfect setting for the evening celebrations. Children from South Mumbai, Matunga, Ghatkopar, Mulund, Vile Parle, Kandivali, Vasai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Raipur, Amravati, Ahmedabad, Surat, Valsad, Botad and Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul, expressed their love and gratitude for Pujya Gurudevshri through skits, dances, songs, prayers and more. Students also showcased what they had learnt in different activities. Atmarpit Kothariji shared his experiences which gave the children a motivating glimpse into the joyous life of an Atmarpit. Additionally, experiences from Rahil Jhaveri, Devansh Shah and Aashna Shah reflected moments of living in His grace. Commemorating the 25th year of the Mission, the children made paintings depicting the past, present and future of the Mission. The children of Ghatkopar, Kandivali and the outgoing Spiritualtouch children performed a skit which was based on how the children of the Retreat would be serving the Mission after 25 years.

A delightful convocation ceremony saw the outgoing Spiritualtouch students graduate and receive certificates from the revered hands of Pujya Gurudevshri. Further, they spent informal moments with Him, where He gave autographs to each one of them.

The Retreat cultivated long-lasting values and inspired the children towards overall growth for a bright future!
