Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s 10th Time Participation at the Tata Mumbai Marathon View Photos A phenomenal opportunity to spread awareness of charitable causes and to raise funds, the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) is Asia’s largest marathon. 19th January, 2020 marked a major milestone as Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care participated in this mega event for the 10th successive year! Over 1500 volunteers and supporters participated in the popular 5.9km Dream Run and other race categories. Marching with the theme ‘You can light up someone’s life’, the costumes portrayed Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care as a majestic powerhouse at the centre, lighting up numerous bulbs around it. This innovative costume reflected how its 50 projects have lit up millions of under-privileged lives globally. The beneficiaries of Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre and women from Shrimad Rajchandra Vocational Training Programme also joined the Dream Run to share their tales of transformation and journey towards self-reliance. 50 corporate teams supported Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, reflecting their unshakeable trust and faith in the charitable initiatives. The Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care Motivation Zone at the iconic Marine Drive was the cynosure of all eyes as vibrant performances, including a mesmerising display from the Stompers, caught the attention of runners across the race route. Prior to the race-day, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care was also invited to participate in the TMM Philanthropy press conference. Late Dhaval Mehta – Coordinator of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care was honoured with the title of ‘Change Legend’ at TMM for being the highest fundraiser in the history of the event. The participation received coverage in media like The Times of India, Hindustan Times, Gujarat Samachar, Divya Bhaskar, Mid-Day (Gujarati), Sandesh, Rajasthan Patrika and others.
