Patrank – 656 Mumbai, Magshar Sud 10, Tuesday, 1952 I had conveyed through Shri Tribhovan that I had received your earlier letters. Knowing your existing state through those letters, etc., I had mentioned in brief regarding excelling that state. Through whichever means the activity of the non-self (object reduces), a firm focus to see one’s own faults remains, and supreme devotion for the company of the Enlightened One and the scriptures keeps increasing, by imbibing those means, and by reflecting upon the teachings of the Enlightened One, the state gains excellence, and becomes worthy for true Samadhi. Keep that as the focus, so I had said. That alone is the request.
