Joyful Janmashtami Celebrations

The pious day of Lord Krishna’s birth, Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety in the gracious presence of Pujya Gurudevshri on Sunday, 2nd September 2018 at the Dharampur Ashram. The Master commenced the ceremony with the auspicious garlanding of the idols of Param Krupalu Dev and Lord Krishna. To mark the occasion, President of the Mission, Vanprastha Abhaybhai Jasani offered the beloved Sadguru a garland, crown and khes on behalf of all devotees.

Atmarpit Rajuji gave an enlightening talk on heart-touching events from the dynamic life of Lord Krishna giving their spiritual significance. Expounding upon the noble virtues of unconditional love, immovable faith and complete surrendership he charged the audience igniting among them a yearning to inculcate the same. Yuvarpit Namah Mehta’s soulful rendering of Krishna bhajans mesmerised the gathering taking them to great depths of devotion.

Carrying the hallowed idol of Lord Krishna the enthused gathering then proceeded from the Yagnasthal to the Ashram plaza. The downpour added to everyone’s joy and ecstasy as everyone danced drenched in devotion. The Sevarpits as Govindas broke the dahi handi amidst an enthusiastic fervor of numerous devotees. The sight of the mystic Sadguru swaying to the devotional music was a vision to behold. Dissolved in divine communion seekers danced to commemorate the momentous occasion. Children being treated at Shrimad Rajchandra Viklang Centre were also blessed to be a part of the celebration.

Seekers departed from the Ashram after lunch with charged spirits and warm memories of cherished moments.
