Varsh Poornahuti Mahotsav 2022 View Photos Thousands gathered for the one-year anniversary of Shri Dharampur Tirth Anjanshalakha Pratishtha Ashtanhika Mahotsav and to attend the Varsh Poornahuti Mahotsav at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur from 27 Dec 2022 – 1 Jan 2023. Naivedya Utsav A grand Naivedya Utsav was set on the eve of the Mahotsav. Pujya Gurudevshri offered thousands of sweets at the Lotus feet of Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji. The gathered celebrated the evening with a joyous nrutyabhakti in the Jinmandir plaza. Shri Kathopanishad Poornahuti Shibir From 27-30 December, Pujya Gurudevshri blessed devotees with five life-transforming pravachans on Shri Kathopanishad. The venue for the discourses was the upcoming new Swadhyay Hall. Throughout 2022, Pujya Gurudevshri’s discourses on this sacred text played a pivotal role in augmenting the urge for liberation among seekers. At the end of the fifth pravachan, a pious Granth Utthapan of this sacred text was performed. Elevating Evening Programmes On 28 December evening, the winner of the first Sahitya Akademi Award Yuva Puraskar 2021, Dr Himanshu Bajpai and Dr Pragya Sharma performed the ‘Dastangoi’ (an oral storytelling art form) on the holy life of saint Mirabai. Renowned artist Shri Vedant Bharadwaj immersed the devotees in devotional dedications composed by Sufi saints. Two new digital series were launched based on Pujya Gurudevshri’s discourses – Masterclass in Human Management and Emotional Fitness. A new book Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya was also launched. In addition, various Raj Uphaar products as well as six notebooks were launched. On this occasion, 501 animals were saved from being sent to slaughterhouses to be reinstated in animal shelters. On the evening of 29 December, renowned Kathak artist Sanjukta Sinha and her team intricately presented the journey of a seeker from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge through a performance entitled “Noor”. First Anniversary of Jinmandir & Gurumandir On 30-31 December, devotees rejoiced in devotional ecstasy on the occasion of the first pratishtha anniversary of Jinmandir and Gurumandir. Early morning on 30 December, devotees gathered for the majestic Mahamastakabhishek of Param Krupalu Dev at the amphitheatre. Pujya Gurudevshri, along with the laabharthis performed abhishek of the Lord with coloured water – each signifying a different virtue of the Omniscient Ones. Showering flowers upon Param Krupalu Dev and adorning the Lord with a garland, the devotees expressed their feelings of gratitude and surrendership. In the morning session, devotees engrossed themselves in the recitation of Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra and also performed Ashtaprakari puja. The first pratishtha anniversary of the Gurumandir, a grand Arti was performed of all five pratimajis of Param Krupalu Dev in the evening. Celebrations then continued in the amphitheatre as devotees cherished the first-year anniversary of Shri Anjanshalakha Pratishtha Ashtanhika Mahotsav. Priceless moments from the year before were shown through a video and reenactments of performances. The evening culminated with devotees expressing their joy in the form of nrutyabhakti. Naman Raj Production, a musical band under the direction of Shri Dharmesh Mehta immersed the devotees in an evening of devotion and nrutyabhakti. Three miniature idols of Shri Dharampur Tirth Mulnayak Lord Mahavir were released on this occasion. On 31 December, came the one-year anniversary of the memorable Jinmandir pratishtha. In the early morning, seekers performed sacred pujan on the Dhwaj or flags which were then carried to the Jinmandir in a grand procession, and ultimately hoisted atop the shikhars of the temple. The morning session began with an Ashtaprakari pujan of Shri Bhaktamar Stotra. The evening at the Jinmandir witnessed a grand and divine Kumarpal Arti in the divine presence of Pujya Gurudevshri. Devotees reached the peaks of devotion as several tirelessly immersed in nrutyabhakti for the Lord. Out of the Mission’s 188 centres, a select few that had won Pujya Gurudevshri’s rajipo were felicitated through the Centres Awards ceremony. Each centre was scored on criteria like connection with the divine, unity, organisation of Pujya Gurudevshri’s Dharmayatras, seva and self-development. Nairobi Centre won the award for “Best Development”. “Best Centre Leaders” was awarded to the Bengaluru Centre. Dubai Study Group bagged the “Best Study and Best Youth Group”. “Best Centre for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care Activities” was awarded to San Francisco Centre. Ghatkopar Centre in Mumbai was awarded the “Best Centre for Shrimad Rajchandra DivineTouch Activities”. Renowned singer Parthiv Gohil elevated the devotees in an evening of love and devotion towards the Master. The bhakti team of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission chanted the name and virtues of Param Krupalu Dev as the devotees together welcomed the new year 2023. In yet another act of boundless compassion, Pujya Gurudevshri took the tireless effort of personally coming up to each of the thousands of devotees to bless them for the new year. The dawn of 2023 brought with it a fresh life with new hopes of elevated living and the opportunity to do Ajnabhakti with Pujya Gurudevshri followed by a New Year Message. Pujya Gurudevshri guided seekers to fill their spiritual practice with renewed enthusiasm and vigour, to make bhakti increasingly heartfelt and to imbibe His words at a feeling and experiential level. The sacred text chosen for group swadhyay in 2023, Swayambhustotra composed by Swami Shri Samantbhadracharya, was also announced at this time.
