Completion of 40 years of Pujya Gurudevshri’s Initiation:

• The auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya 2023 marks the completion of 40 years of Pujya Gurudevshri’s formal initiation into sanyas.
• On 15 May, 1983, on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 16-year old Pujya Gurudevshri formally undertook a life of celibacy and initiation into higher vows.

Unveiling of FEEL – A Collaboration Between SRMD & UNEP:

• On the occasion of Earth Day, the ‘Faith for Earth Empathy Leadership’ (FEEL) Programme was unveiled – a first of its kind collaboration between UNEP and a global spiritual movement.
• The unveiling was jointly done by Pujya Gurudevshri along with Guests of Honour Mrs Dia Mirza and Advocate Mr Afroz Shah.
• Mrs Dia Mirza is the UNEP Goodwill Ambassador for India and the UN Secretary General’s advocate for Sustainable Development Goals. She works to further spread the message on clean air, clean seas, wildlife protection and climate change.
• Mr Afroz Shah, an environmental activist and lawyer, has dedicated a decade of his life tackling human-ocean and human-animal conflicts. Best known for organising the world’s largest beach clean-up project, he has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious “Champion of The Earth” – the Highest International Environmental Honour from the United Nations.
• The FEEL course features 2 levels, one for ages 8-12 and another for ages 13-17. As a part of FEEL curriculum, children who complete the 6-month certificate course will join a distinguished group – the “Empathy Leaders,” and get opportunities to engage with real life environmental issues.
• The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the leading global environmental authority that sets the agenda for environmental action worldwide. It works with 193 member states and civil organisations to address environmental challenges.
• In 2021, UNEP presented the “Faith for Earth Councillor Award” to Pujya Gurudevshri, and witnessing His impact on the youth especially the culture of selfless service, they requested the development of a programme to inculcate environmental awareness in children and youth. This led to the conceptualisation of the FEEL Programme.
• Plans are also underway to roll out the FEEL programme to UNEP affiliate universities and partner organisations across the globe.

Pujya Gurudevshri’s Presence at the Ashram (Sat, 29 Apr – Tue, 9 May, 2023):

• Pujya Gurudevshri will be physically present in the Ashram from Sat, 29 Apr – Tue, 9 May, 2023.
• From Mon, 1 – Tue, 9 May, Pujya Gurudevshri will bless the seekers with Sadguru Udghosh. This will be a paravartana of Pujya Gurudevshri’s Mumbai Pravachans held on 22 Apr, 2023 (Mokshmala Chapter 21) and 8 Apr, 2023 (Patrank 702).

Invitation for 40th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Atmarpit Nemiji (Sat, 29 Apr, 2023):

• On the evening of 29 April, 2023, there will be the birth anniversary celebrations of Atmarpit Nemiji.
• Mumukshus are cordially invited to the Ashram to join the celebrations.

Invitation for 80th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Adarniya Rekha Maa (Fri, 5 May, 2023):

• On the evening of 5 May, 2023, there will be the birth anniversary celebrations of Pujya Gurudevshri’s mother, Adarniya Rekha Maa.
• Mumukshus are cordially invited to the Ashram to join the celebrations.

Workshop by Atmaneem Naturopathy Centre (Mon, 8 – Tue, 9 May, 2023):

• From Mon, 8 – Tue, 9 May, 2023, Rajkot-based Atmaneem Naturopathy Centre will conduct a two-day workshop that will comprise sessions and consultations.

• The next pravachan at Yogi Sabhagruh will be held on Sat, 13 May, 2023, from 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm.
