Announcements 30-04-2022 Venerating Yugpurush Shrimad Rajchandraji’s Mortal Body’s Ashes (7 May, 2022): By the grace of Param Krupalu Dev, during the recent Gujarat Dharmayatra, Shri Kiritbhai Shah (a devotee, and trustee of Shrimad Rajchandra Nijabhyas Mandap & Vihar Bhavan Trust at Vadwa and Idar) offered the ashes of Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji’s mortal body to Pujya Gurudevshri. Mumukshus will be blessed with an opportunity to venerate the Great Enlightened Being’s remains on the evening of Sat, 7 May, 2022 at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur. Sthapna at the New Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital (3 May, 2022): On the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya, i.e. on Tue, 3 May, 2022 Pujya Gurudevshri will install the gracious idols of Lord Mahavir and Param Krupalu Dev at the new Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital. This sacred event is open for all to attend. The Upcoming New Satsang Hall Wins Prestigious AR Future Project – Cultural Regeneration Award 2022: The upcoming new Satsang Hall at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur was bestowed the “AR Future Project – Cultural Regeneration Award” at the AR Future Projects Awards 2022. Launched in 2002, the AR Future Projects Awards are a window to tomorrow’s cities. Spanning 12 categories, they celebrate excellence in under construction projects with a potential for positive contribution to communities, neighbourhoods and urban landscapes around the world. These awards have been introduced by “The Architectural Review” – a highly acclaimed global architectural magazine that began publishing in London in 1896. The winners are chosen from about 200 entries across the globe from countries like Japan, Germany, Canada, UK, Turkey, Finland to name a few. Awards are given not just on the basis of the design, but how these future projects contribute to their wider location and users, and how the projects make the most of the natural, cultural and ecological heritage of the country. The new Satsang Hall spans 1,50,000 sq. ft. with a capacity to host 10,000 people. With a towering height of 12-storeys, the complex also houses a meditation hall, museum, library, two large multipurpose halls, and four classrooms. The final design of this architectural marvel, from a bird’s eye view resembles the divine Navpadji. Latest Updates from Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care (SRLC): Educational Care: Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Aids Drive 2022: Educational materials are distributed annually to students in need around rural areas of South Gujarat, at approximately a 40% discount off their retail price. Sixteen lakh students have benefitted from this programme till date. This year alone, an estimated 20 lakh books are expected to be distributed in over 90 centres, by more than 400 volunteers in the age range of 15 to 80 years. The front of the notebooks used in distribution will feature chitrapats of Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji and Mahatma Gandhi. The notebooks made out of high quality eco-friendly paper will also feature motivational messages from Pujya Gurudevshri. This year, distribution of education aids will occur in Dharampur & its surrounding areas and cities like Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur. During the course of the drive, in Dharampur and surrounding areas, information will be shared regarding the opening of the new Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital, the various short-term courses of Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre, the services of Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Care, and the various other activities of Shrimad Rajchandra Love & Care.
