Khatmuhurat Ceremony of the New 250 Bed Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital

After the soul-stirring Mahamastakabhishek ceremony, aspirants gathered for the khatmuhurat ceremony of the proposed 250 bed Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital in Dharampur. Pujya Gurudevshri and revered saints were welcomed graciously by the children of Shrimad Rajchandra Viklang Centre. An inspiring video on the tireless endeavours of the existing Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital was screened amidst the large gathering.

The regions of Dharampur and other surrounding areas in South Gujarat are home to many people who surviving through poverty and malnourishment, often suffer from serious ailments due to lack of awareness and proper medical facilities. Established by the immense grace of Param Krupalu Dev and immaculate guidance of Pujya Gurudevshri, Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital in Dharampur has been catering to the medical needs of such underprivileged population since the past 13 years. However, the demand for such modern healthcare service is so high that despite treating patients round the clock 365 days a year, it is not able to cater to everyone due to lack of infrastructure.

To ensure that everyone in this region receives the necessary medical treatment, a new 250 bed multi-specialty charity hospital is being constructed. The project will be developed across 8 acres of land and is expected to annually treat 95,000 patients in its premises and 1,50,000 people through its Outreach Programme at no or negligible cost.
