Brimming with devotion and abounding in wisdom, Paryushan Parva 2018 was a truly momentous occasion for seekers. While aspirants were elated by Pujya Gurudevshri’s insightful pravachans in Mumbai, seekers in Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Phoenix and New York elevated themselves in pulsating Paryushan shibirs conducted by Swadhyaykars.

Atmarpit Rajuji To help aspirants understand what is Samyak Darshan, how can one attain Samyak Darshan and if there is any simple key to attain it – Atmarpit Rajuji conducted interesting shibir on Samyak Darshan in the mornings at Shrimad Rajchandra Gyan Mandir in Rajkot. The Paryushan evenings were adorned with captivating sessions on Pushpamala written by Param Krupalu Dev. The interesting lectures along with practical exercises and interactive discussions had an appealing impact on the large audience. The sessions received live television coverage on a popular channel ‘Abtak’ and across print media as well. Abtak Television Channel also aired a special discussion with Atmarpit Rajuji where he explained the fundamentals of Jainism, the true meaning and relevance of Paryushan Parva, the importance of the ritual and spiritual aspect of Jain religion.

Vanprastha Dr Piyushbhai Shah Ahmedabad seekers embarked on a journey of inner transformation during Paryushan with energising sessions by Vanprastha Dr Piyushbhai Shah on Shrimad Rajchandra Vachanamrut Patrank – 254 and Samyak Darshan. Held at Shrimad Rajchandra Gyan Mandir, the sessions were filled with interactive activities and captivating examples that urged devotees to progress towards realising their True Self.

Vanprastha Dakshaben Shah The Jain Centre of Greater Phoenix was filled with a celebrative ambience as Vanprastha Dakshaben Shah conducted a shibir on Param Krupalu Dev’s priceless composition – Pushpamala. Through enriching sessions, calming meditations, soulful bhakti and engaging question answers; aspirants were connected to the Divine. She also conducted two sessions for the Phoenix Study Group that involved youngsters exchanging their views on numerous theories and concepts.

Premarpit Dr Atulbhai Shah The Jain Centre of America, New York hosted an enlivening shibir on Samyak Darshan conducted by Premarpit Dr Atulbhai Shah. Packed with practical learning and activities, the sessions attracted enthusiastic participation from the audience. His wife Vanprastha Binaben Shah also conducted sessions on Pushpamala. The topics created interest amongst aspirants and fuelled their enthusiasm for connection with the Divine.
