Yuvarpit Meera Mehta Receives the Prestigious Diana Award Yuvarpit Meera Mehta, volunteer and fundraiser for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, was selected as a recipient of the esteemed Diana Award in recognition of her contributions towards uplifting the rural communities of South Gujarat. In memory of Princess Diana of Wales, these awards celebrate the social and humanitarian impact of youth icons from across the world. At a very young age, Meera was inspired by Pujya Gurudevshri to offer service to the tribal and rural communities around Dharampur. Over her 10-year fundraising journey, Meera has raised over Rs 1.5 crores for various projects including Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital, Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, Shrimad Rajchandra Grow Green Drive and Shrimad Rajchandra Women Empowerment Programme. During the current COVID-19 pandemic Meera has raised over Rs. 35 lakhs for the ongoing relief activities. She carries out these benevolent activities along with pursuing her medical studies. With loving inspiration from Pujya Gurudevshri, Meera continues her journey of spreading love and care to the underprivileged.
