Shrimad Rajchandra Adhyatmik Satsang Sadhana Kendra Enters its 25th Glorious Year

Just as the sacred Ganga emerges as a few droplets at the Gaumukh and goes on to become a mighty river quenching the thirst of millions, such is the saga of this great Mission. Incorporated as a Public Trust – Shrimad Rajchandra Adhyatmik Satsang Sadhana Kendra on the auspicious day of Mahashivratri, Thursday, 10th March 1994, the Mission is now known worldwide as the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur. What began as a small group of devotees gathering informally for Pujya Gurudevshri’s insightful discourses has now assumed monumental proportions with 107 centres across 5 continents. The Divine Architect of this epic movement is our beloved Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji while its compassionate engineer is our benevolent Master Pujya Gurudevshri.

Seekers from far and wide assembled at the Yogi Sabhagruh in Mumbai on the blessed day of Sunday,11th March to celebrate the glorious commencement of the Mission’s 25th year. Devotees who have been a part of it since the foundation, dressed in the dress code of those times and enthusiastically welcomed the Master, swaying to devotional chants. Pujya Gurudevshri stepped onto the beautifully decorated stage and unveiled the backdrop commemorating the momentous year. An enlightening presentation personifying the Mission showcased the entire journey from the earlier days to the present times. It portrayed the significance of every sacred word in the Institution’s chosen name – which denotes both, the destination and the path. Interspersed with the experience sharing by the then trustees and active members, the presentation shed light on the Master’s pivotal role in every aspect of the Mission’s formation. Rendition of soulful bhakti charged the already enthused gathering.

Spirits of the assimilated audience reached greater heights as the announcement of the Mission’s two International Ashrams was made – 1) Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram London. Situated in Central London and previously a place of worship, has been purchased by the Mission. It will be inaugurated on the auspicious day of Aso Vad Ekam by Puja Gurudevshri as a part of the 25th year celebrations. 2) Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram New York. The ground breaking ceremony of this second international Ashram in Long Island, New York will be performed by the Master during His visit to the USA.

Pujya Gurudevshri’s unconditional love and ever-flowing grace has nurtured the small sapling to a huge tree giving shelter to multitudes. The climax of this joyful event was undoubtedly Pujya Gurudevshri’s Pravachan. Though the Mission has grown phenomenally on the outside the Master continues to motivate us to pursue the path to everlasting bliss which is internal.

Heads bow low to the Enlightened One, whose existence gives a higher meaning and direction to one’s life.
