Yugpurush Bags Best Drama Award at Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2017 Yugpurush added one more illustrious feather in its cap. After winning three awards at the 16th Annual Transmedia Gujarati Screen and Stage Awards, the elevating and heart-touching drama depicting the profound relationship between Mahatma Gandhi and his spiritual mentor Param Krupalu Dev won the Best Drama Award at the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2017. The awards ceremony was organised by the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards in Mumbai on April 21. Abhaybhai Jasani, President of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur collected the award on behalf of the Mission. The audience also witnessed a captivating short video of the play that portrayed its journey and phenomenal milestones achieved. The glittering evening was lit up by the presence of celebrities from Bollywood, Indian Television and Music industry like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hema Malini, Saiyami Kher, Javed Akhtar, Falguni Pathak, Anup Jalota and many more.
