An Uplifting Sevarpit Retreat

Grace of Enlightened Beings leave no soul untouched, engulfing all in its magnanimity. The Sevarpits, who are the blessed working staff of Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram Dharampur, were blessed with a three – day retreat to several sacred Tirths. This memorable retreat encompassing Idar, Ambaji, Mount Abu and Gandhinagar saw the Sevarpits dissolve in devotional bhakti, engage in divine darshan and experience the bliss in their beloved Master’s presence.

On Sunday, 26th February 2017 the Ashram throbbed with excitement as numerous enthused staff members (Sevarpits) along with their families embarked on a trip of their lifetime. The yatra commenced with the sacred Tirth of Idar being their first destination. After spending a peaceful night in the serenity of the Ashram, sevaks did darshan at the temple there and Shri Chandraprabhu Bhagwan Toonk where they experienced the bliss of divine connection through bhakti. After lunch they proceeded towards Ambaji where they did darshan at Gabbar Hill and at Ambaji Temple. After a prolific day, the exhausted yet joyous group reached the pious land of Mount Abu.

The morning of Tuesday, 28th February 2017 began with sightseeing of the hallowed Tirths of Achalgarh and Guru Shikhar, the highest point of the Aravalli Mountain Range. The highlight of the day was their special rendezvous with the Divine Master at Nakki Lake. Welcoming Pujya Gurudevshri in the traditional Rajasthani style, the Sevarpits showcased their love and devotion through skits and songs. Heartfelt experience-sharing followed by Pujya Gurudevshri distributing gifts to each member, drenched all in deep gratitude.

On Wednesday, 1st March 2017 the enthusiastic troupe visited Delwara temples. Here, Pujya Gurudevshri along with the Sevarpits venerated the Lord and then embarked on a soul-stirring bhakti. The Sevarpits were on a spiritual high as they spent endearing moments with their Beloved Master, offering a hand-drawn picture of Param Krupalu Dev to Him as a token of their love. To make this yatra memorable for them, the Master blessed rakshapotlis for them all and had a special photo session with all of them family-wise, thus etching this yatra in their hearts forever.

The group then left for Gandhinagar where they visited the stunning Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple and watched the world famous Sat-Chit-Anand Water Show, which portrays the inspiring story of Nachiketa.

Thus after spending three momentous days in the blissful shelter of Pujya Gurudevshri, the Sevarpits left from Gandhinagar for the Ashram with their hearts overflowing with devotion and gratitude along with wonderful memories to cherish for a lifetime.
