Pujya Gurudevshri, the masterful architect of inner transformation, arrived in Manchester, the hub of industrial revolution. Bharat-Sonal Mehta were blessed to host the Master.

Momentous Manchester November 24 – 26

Pujya Gurudevshri was lovingly welcomed at the Jain Samaj Manchester, the venue of His two spiritually uplifting pravachans. The Sadguru’s pravachans were imbued with inspiration to cultivate detachment by imbibing the wisdom of an Enlightened Master. A book penned by the Master, ‘Benevolent Principles of Bhagwan Mahavir’, was launched on the occasion by the committee members – President, Shri Hiren Vora; Vice President, Shri Bhogilal Shah; Chairman, Shri Suresh Mehta; Religious Activities Committee Member, Smt Saroj Patel and Secretary, Shri Nehal Mehta. Shri Hiren Vora and Shri Suresh Mehta offered a crystal with the hallowed image of Param Krupalu Dev imprinted on it to the Master.

At the Jain Samaj Manchester Sthapna Mahotsav, Pujya Gurudevshri consecrated the idols of Tirthankar Bhagwan and Param Krupalu Dev amongst jubilant expressions of devotion. President of Jain Samaj Manchester, Shri Hiren-Meghna Vora’s abode was also sanctified with a memorable pratishtha. The Master’s padhramanis infused devotees with supreme happiness. The Sadguru met the overjoyed children and sevaks of Shrimad Rajchandra Divinetouch.

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th year of birth and commemorating his glorious life and his stellar ideals, Pujya Gurudevshri unveiled a 9ft high bronze statue of the Mahatma outside the Manchester Cathedral. Pujya Gurudevshri and esteemed dignitaries also uncovered a plaque recognising the impact that Param Krupalu Dev had on Gandhiji’s life.

The unveiling, an initiative of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, was preceded by an inter-faith service of non-violence, peace and unity hosted by Manchester Cathedral. The unveiling showcased performances including the University of Manchester Indian Dance Society, the famous performer – Shaam Panch, Andrew Rudd, The Indian Choir of England and others. Atmarpit Nemiji and Trustee of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (UK) Ashwin Mehta addressed the gathering after which a short video on the Mission was screened. A host of eminent dignitaries attended the event.

A project supported by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, ‘Pashudham’ – a home and sanctuary for animals – was inaugurated by the pious hands of Pujya Gurudevshri.

Marvellous Matlock November 27 – 28

London Youth Group (LYG) members excitedly congregated for a retreat with their beloved Sadguru to fondly recount their decade-long journey with the Master. It was aptly titled ‘Living by Your Grace’.

A stirring Sadguru Udghosh instilled a sense of purpose and passion in the youngsters. Members unlocked life lessons in a joyful activities session with Atmarpit Nemiji as well as one on becoming a Super Sevak. They energised with an aerobics and yoga session. The evening was enlivened with a connecting choir performance, engaging quiz, experience sharing and more. Delighting the youth with His love Pujya Gurudevshri proceeded to London.

Sadguru Udghosh – London, England

Lively London November 29 – December 2

Pujya Gurudevshri arrived in London nestling seekers in the warmth of His eternal love amid the cold and chilly weather.

Devotees comprehended the need to utilise every minute of this precious life towards a Higher Purpose through the Master’s three pravachans at Grand Hall, Bushey Academy. A book written by the Sadguru was released by Respected Dr Samani Pratibha Pragyaji, Respected Samani Vipul Pragyaji and Interfaith Advisor-Mitzvah Day, Rabbi Jeff Berger. The Sadguru endearingly interacted with numerous seekers. He also conferred Spiritualtouch and Arhat Touch students with course completion certificates.

An uplifting Sadguru Udghosh at the London Spiritual Centre reinforced aspirants’ spirituality. Atmarpit Nemiji’s session invigorated the gathering to embrace change willingly and enthusiastically.

Pujya Gurudevshri’s padhramanis elated seekers. A devotional pratishtha ceremony consecrated the Divine in the hearts of Ketan-Madhavi Patira, Hemant-Javnika Shah and Fenil-Shreya Shah. The Master blessed aspirants with Panchdiksha and Ajivan Brahmacharya Vrat after the pratishtha. Pujya Gurudevshri planted a tree at the Ahimsa Peace Forest under the ‘Planting for Peace’ project, at an event that saw enthusiastic participation of several devotees. Initiated by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary, this project is supported by the Harrow Council and the Indian High Commission and celebrated by OneJAIN, the union of UK Jain Communities. The Mayor of Harrow, Mr Nitin Parekh; Shri Vinodbhai Kapashi of OneJAIN and Park Warden and Manager of Kenton Recreation Ground Mr Eugene Callinan BEM were present on the occasion and were felicitated for their constant support to the project.

While in London, the Sadguru also visited Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Kingsbury. He had a cordial meeting with President, Jain Network, Dr Natubhai Shah MBE MBBS PhD.

Illuminating hearts and mind with a spiritual outlook and a refreshed vision the Master returned to India.
